  • The effect of Static Field will not reduce a monster's hit points to less than 33%.

  • Some levels have a larger exploration area than others.

  • Normal monsters have a 30% chance of dropping Exceptional items and a 20% chance of dropping Elite items.

  • Bosses and Champion monsters have a 40% chance of dropping exceptional items, and a 40% chance of dropping Elite items.

  • Dying deducts 10% of the current amount of EXP required to level up (Characters will never lose a level).

  • Monsters that are unique or champions receive a 66% damage bonus.

  • Monsters with the ability to cast skills gain seven levels in their magical attacks.

  • Monster levels and stats (such as hit points, defense, and damage) have been increased even further.

  • Random Boss monsters gain a third set of random Monster Modifiers.

  • Most Superuniques gain a second random modifier to use in conjunction with their preset properties.

  • Character resistances are subject to a 100% penalty.

  • Mercenaries and summons deal 25% damage to Act Bosses.

  • Many Hell monsters, particularly Superunique ones, have additional penalties to leech, reducing their effectiveness to 2/3 of its previous level.

  • The effects of using Freezing, Life/Mana Stealing, and Chilling Curses are only about a quarter as effective as they could be.

  • A monster's hit points will not be depleted by a Static Field until it reaches 50% of its maximum.

  • Some levels (for example, the Monastery Barracks in Diablo 2: Resurrected) have a larger exploration area than others.

  • Using the 'PlayersX' command (where X is the number of players the game will simulate) on the PC version of Diablo, or playing with others (up to eight players), will further increase monster Levels and EXP gain in all difficulties.

  • The effectiveness of the best farming spots for each act in Diablo 2 Resurrected Items Switch: Resurrected will change depending on the difficulty and player count.
